Reginald Bullen
Co-Founder/Musician
Reggie Bullen developed and intense love for music at a young age. It offered him a postive, creative outlet
from all the surrounding negativity in his Watts/Willowbrook neighborhood. Knowing first hand how discipline, determination,
and practice can pay off, Reggie has been helping youth to channel their energy into music and the arts.
At the age
of fifteen Reggie landed his first gig with Redd Foxx. That first gig opened the door for so many opportunities in the music
industy. Reggie's first tour was with The Sylvers singing group, then he went on to play with greats like Patrice Rushen,
Gerald Albright, Johnny Hammond, Willie Hutch, various Motown artists, Eddie Kendricks, Quincy Jones ( Brothers Johnson ),
Marvin Gaye, and many more. He was able to not only tour with the artists but was able to record on their albums as well.
As his reputation grew in the industry he continued to work with more of musics finest, such as,Patti LaBelle, Erin Hall,
and Chante Moore. Currently, Reggie is working with a the Neo-Soul artist, Keplyn, while recording with Rodney Jerkins, one
of the greatest producers in the industy.
For the past four years Reggie has been involved in teaching music in underserved
communities in the Los Angeles Unified School System and the private sector. Reggie truly believes that music can be a therapy
to high risk and at risk adolescents from underserved communities. Through personal experience, Reggie has found that, music
can be a useful tool in deterring youth from negative influences within their tough environments. Through Subject2Change
he will share his experience and expertise with youth to help them to excel against the odds and achieve their own dreams.
