Choreographer. Dancer. Teacher.

Carmen
Chavez is a phenominal choreographer, dancer, and teacher. She fell in love with dancing and performing at the tender age
of six. After receiving a five-year scholarship to USC Performing Arts Annex, she became a principal dancer with the Lebram
Dance Company for ten years.
Her amazing gift has opened many doors in the in the film industry. Her film credits include, the up and coming, "Lackawana
Blues", staring Halle Berry and Mos Def. She has had the opportunity to do stunts in "The Players Club", and was Jada Pinkett
Smith's stand in in "Scream 2 The Sequel" and "Mutiny", staring Michael Jai White.
She has been involved in my stage productions as well. She has performed in "King Solomon Lives", "Jesus Christ Superstar",
"Sang Sista Sang", "The Chocolate Nutcracker", and "Dance Roots I & II", which is still being broadcast on local Arts channels.
Her television credits include: "The Nikki Show", "The Andy Dick Show", and the now syndicated, "Martin Lawrence Show". Carmen
has also appeared in a host of music videos such as Janet Jackson's "Got Till It's Gone", LSG's "My Body", Shanice's "You
Need A Man", Julio Iglesias' "Tango", and Dr. Dre's "Been There Done That" video. Carmen continues to be a stand in on UPN's

The support of her family, the love of her daughter, November, and her quest to help youth, make her a wonderful contribution
to the Subject2Change family.
